total meltdown...

My mom kept Annie for a sleepover last night - something she does about once a week. It's great becaues Annie loves to stay at her grandma's and get spoiled and soaked in attention and I like the chance to sleep past 6:30 am.

Well, this morning, even with no Annie in the house I woke up around 6:00 and immediately started bawling (chalk that one up to pregnancy). I'm already freaked about not loving the second one as much as I love Annie but on top of that, I woke up SO SAD that my little Annie is no longer that little. I mean, I could totally skip the first year but everything after that, I want to do again. I keep thinking of all the things I could have done better or differently and how I won't get that chance. I called my husband and his reply was "well, you get to do it again and you get another chance". I guess that's true but it's still not Annie. I suppose I'm just sad that my baby is getting bigger!

we're having a...

GIRL! We are so exicted for another one. I think Preston was a little bit disappointed at first but I'm sure he's over it by now and nothing but excited! I told Preston to think how much cheaper it would be since we already have all the girl "stuff". He said "yeah, maybe now but what about when they get married"? True! We're just looking forward to another little one on the way...now for name suggestions???

This is a profile shot. Look at her big, huge, cute nose...

This is one looking straight down at the front of the baby's face...
No wonder I can feel the kicking 24/7! Here is her foot...
The "girl shots" were really unclear, they look like fog on a screen so there was no sense in posting those I guess.

Breakfast with Santa...

Every year from about the time I was 3 until I was around 12, my family went to Breakfast with Santa at the ZCMI Center Tiffin Room. It was one of the highlights of my Christmas season and I looked forward to it every year. Eventually they stopped doing it which was just as well because I was older and among those who stopped believing in Santa. This year my mom heard that Thanksgiving Point was doing a Breakfast with Santa production. She got all of us tickets - 4 adults and 1 child, can you say spoiled child?!?

It was really cute and Annie had a lot of fun. It wasn't what I remember the ZCMI experience being, maybe it was nostalgia or maybe the ZCMI one really was better - all the same, we had a great time!

finished fireplace...

I just have to take a second to brag about my husband. He has done so much custom work on our house and has done a WONDERFUL job! When we moved in I told him there was no rush but asked if he could have the fireplace mantle done by Christmas. He said he could. And, always true to his word, he did! It looks great and I just had to post a couple pictures of his fantastic work!
